Di per sé è una salita dolce, facile, con un buon fondo stradale, immersa nella natura e poco trafficata. Quello che la rende dura è la lunghezza e il fatto che per percorrerla si sono già fatti parecchi chilometri, anche in salita, se si arriva dal cagliaritano o da Villasalto.
