It starts pretty much flat and it drags a bit up and down for most of its length, only punching back a bit towards its end.

If you want to avoid the boring climb from Gulpen to Margraten via the national road, this is a great alternative. The climb can be ridden at higher resistance. Most of the climb is 2-3％. Only between 1 and 2 km is percentage at 4-5％. Only at the junction in Ingber are you really at the top.
Wil je de saaie klim van Gulpen naar Margraten via de Rijksweg vermijden dan is dit een prima alternatief. De klim is op groter verzet te rijden. Overgrote deel van de klim is 2-3％. Alleen tussen 1 en 2 km ligt percentage op 4-5％. Pas op de splitsing in Ingber ben je echt boven. Vanuit Ingber via Wijnweg de mogelijkheid om Keutenberg, Doodeman of Beversberg af te gaan dalen.

Not too difficult but very beautiful and quiet road from Gulpen to Ingber. In Gulpen the climb starts already lightly at the traffic lights. Further on don't follow the main road (it goes into a residential area) but turn right "through traffic". Then follows a nice little road that gradually goes up. At the first houses of Ingber you think you're almost there but it still takes a while.
No views or challenges but nice surroundings, and Ingber itself has some nice old buildings. The road winds quite a bit and is not very clear, so pay attention when descending. Good asphalt.
Has the same amount of climbing points but feels by the variations much lighter (and is of course much nicer) than the boring climb along the N278 from Gulpen to Margraten.
Niet al te moeilijke maar heel fraaie en rustige weg van Gulpen naar Ingber. In Gulpen begint de klim al lichtjes bij de verkeerslichten. Verderop niet de voorrangsweg volgen (die gaat een woonwijk in) maar rechtsaf "doorgaand verkeer" volgen. Dan volgt er een mooi weggetje wat geleidelijk naar boven loopt. Bij de eerste huizen van Ingber denk je dat je er bijna bent maar dat duurt dan nog wel even.
Geen uitzichten of uitdagingen maar wel een fraaie omgeving, en Ingber zelf heeft fraaie oude gebouwen. De weg slingert behoorlijk en is niet al te overzichtelijk, dus bij afdalen opletten. Goed asfalt.
Heeft evenveel klimpunten als maar voelt door de variaties veel lichter aan (en is uiteraard stukken leuker) dan de saaie klim langs de N278 van Gulpen naar Margraten.

Lekkere, rustige klim die prachtig is gelegen tussen de bomen. Een prima alternatief voor de Doodeman of de Keutenberg. Let wel goed op het verkeer, want er zitten wat onoverzichtelijke bochtjes in!

Nice and quiet climb to the village of Ingber, you can go uphill on power (outside blade) but ..... it goes on for quite a long time so you can blow yourself up on a slightly steeper bend just past the halfway point.
Partly it is also a typical road for the province of Limburg, which makes it extra fun. If you have to go from Gulpen to Margraten this is an absolute must instead of the boring "N" road with bike path.
Leuke en vooral rustige klim naar het dorpje Ingber, je kunt hier op de macht naar boven (buitenblad) maar..... hij loopt best lang door dus je kunt je opblazen op een iets steiler knikje net over de helft.
Gedeeltelijk is het ook een typisch Limburgse komweg wat het extra leuk maakt. Mocht je van Gulpen richting Margraten moeten dan is dit een absolute aanrader in plaats van de saaie "N" weg met fietspad.
Nice long climb, not steep but still pulls a long way. A real runner. The ingbergracht is not ridden in the AGR, therefore it is less known.
Mooie lange klim, niet steil maar trekt wel nog lang door. Een echte loper. De ingbergracht wordt niet gereden in de AGR, hierdoor is die wat minder bekend.
