Artificial climb that is constant and runs well. The two bends provide a real climbing feeling. At the summit, the view over the open-cast mine is quite unique.
Künstlicher Anstieg, der konstant ist und gut läuft. Die zwei Kurven sorgen für ein echtes Kletterfeeling. Am Gipfel ist die Aussicht über den Tagebau ziemlich einzigartig.
Nice climb over lovely tarmac through green surroundings and with a few curves. The slope starts right from the roundabout and most of the climb is a good runner. Halfway between the hairpin bend and the next bend, the slope flattens out sharply and after the third bend it's off cycling. Lots of thresholds but on both sides a wide lane (well-marked) is left free for cyclists. Many local cyclists use this slope. At the top, the road makes a loop so you can immediately descend again (or else continue cycling along the Indemann to Lucherberg).
Lekkere klim over heerlijk asfalt door een groene omgeving en met enkele bochten. De helling begint direct vanaf de rotonde en het grootste deel van de klim is een goede loper. Halverwege de haarspeldbocht en de volgende bocht vlakt de helling sterk af en na de derde bocht is het uitfietsen. Veel drempels maar aan beide zijden is een ruime strook (goed aangegeven) voor fietsers vrijgelaten. Veel lokale wielrenners maken gebruik van deze helling. Bovenin maakt de weg een lus zodat je meteen weer kan afdalen (of anders langs de Indemann verder fietsen naar Lucherberg).
