A slight climb with unfortunately quite a few thresholds but if you are in the area, this one is fun to take in. Not so much for the first part - although you do start in the valley of the Caumerbeek - nor for the challenge but the rest of the climb runs through the former miner's colony Beersdal with a nice architectural style which is now under Protected Townscape. The flatter middle section sees the final part of the climb rising nicely.
Een licht klimmetje met helaas flink wat drempels maar als je in de buurt bent is deze wel leuk om mee te pakken. Niet zozeer voor het eerste deel - al begin je wel in het dal van de Caumerbeek - en ook niet voor de uitdaging maar de rest van de klim loopt door de voormalige mijnwerkerskolonie Beersdal met een recht stratenpatroon en een mooie bouwstijl wat nu onder Beschermd Stadsgezicht valt. In het vlakkere middelgedeelte zie je het laatste deel van de klim mooi oplopen.
