Tough climb that starts in Ischgl and leads to the great Alpenhaus restaurant in Idalpe. From there, you can go even higher unpaved towards Viderjoch. This climb is a real killer. The profile does not lie ; especially the 2nd section is inhumanly steep without any bits where recuperation is possible. Fortunately, the steepness softens slightly as you get the summit in sight. The views in the final kilometres make the suffering somewhat worthwhile. Despite its limited length, this climb definitely belongs in the category of monsters à la Zoncolan, Angliru et cetera.
