Very relaxed climb that is just a bit steeper in the first part. For the rest it is more of a light runner. I totally missed the hollow road by the way but that's not a bad thing because at least the road offers some view to the left and the back.
Zeer relaxed klimmetje die in het eerste deel net even iets steller is. Voor de rest is het meer een lichte loper. De holleweg heb ik overigens totaal gemist maar erg is dat niet want de rijbaan biedt tenminste nog wat uitzicht naar links en naar achteren.
Vals plat with a short steeper part in the first 400 meters! The Hussenberg is nothing more than that. After 200 meters you can continue via the hollow road or via the road. To spare the tires I always choose the road. In the surroundings you have several options for beautiful cycling tours. Think of easy tours in the Meuse valley or test yourself on the climbs in the area. The Slingerberg, Snijdersberg and Schieversberg in Geulle, and the Kloosterberg in Bunde are all worthwhile. Are you on a beautiful day in Catsop, consider a visit to ice cream farm Catsop! Really a must and many cyclists have already gone before you.
Vals plat met een kort steiler stukje in de eerste 400 meter! Meer dan dat is de Hussenberg niet. Na 200 meter kan je verder via de holleweg of via de rijbaan. Om de bandjes te sparen kies is altijd voor de rijbaan. In de omgeving heb je diverse opties voor mooie fietstochten. Denk aan eenvoudige tochten in de Maasvallei of test jezelf op de beklimmingen in de buurt. De Slingerberg, Snijdersberg en Schieversberg in Geulle, en de Kloosterberg in Bunde zijn allemaal de moeite waard. Ben je op een mooie dag in Catsop; overweeg dan ook een bezoekje aan ijsboerderij Catsop! Echt een aanrader en heel veel fietsers zijn je al voorgegaan.
