A nasty steep climb. Because of the houses, you think this one is not too bad but in the end it is tougher than the much better known St Remigius Street. Also because you constantly have to turn left, you lose speed and that makes it another category tougher.
Een smerige steile klim. Door de huizen denk je dat deze meevalt maar uiteindelijk is hij lastiger dan de veel bekendere st. Remigiusstraat. Ook doordat je constant linksaf moet slaan verlies je snelheid en dat maakt het nog een categorietje zwaarder.
Steep climb on beautiful asphalt through a residential area. Left and at the end you see between the houses very nice views. After the start keep to the left (except for the first dead end). The first part is very hard. After that a short recuperation and then a steeper part. After that it is time to cycle on.
Stevige klim over prachtig asfalt door een villawijk. Links en op het eind zie je tussen de huizen door zeer fraaie uitzichten. Na de start steeds links aanhouden (behalve bij de eerste, doodlopende, weg). Eerste deel is doorlopend pittig. Daarna even kort recupereren en dan weer een steiler stukje. Daarna is het uitfietsen.
Nice climb with little traffic. You cycle through an area with more luxurious houses. Fantastic tarmac. Nice to climb and then descend the main road (Sint Remigiusstraat).
Mooie klim met weinig verkeer. Je fiets door een wijk met wat luxere huizen. Fantastisch asfalt. Leuk om deze te beklimmen en dan de hoofdweg af te dalen (Sint Remigiusstraat).
Climb over smooth tarmac through a luxurious and quiet residential area in Simpelveld. Occasionally look back and left at the end and you have nice views, but the climb itself is not in beautiful countryside or a nice rural setting.
Klim over glad asfalt door een luxere en rustige woonwijk in Simpelveld. Af en toe achterom kijken en op het einde links en je hebt mooie uitzichten, maar de klim zelf ligt niet in mooie natuur of een mooie landelijke omgeving.
