The majority of the climb is pretty steadily uphill on a through but still quiet road with some nice curves. At Kahren you turn right with a U-turn where it only rises slightly. There are nice views here, which you miss in the first part because of the forest. A little further on, turn left into a nice uphill agricultural road (moderate road surface and it can be dirty) which unfortunately dead ends and does not continue to Hosteberg. On the way back towards the main road it does have nice views. So the last bit is more of an intermediate hop while on the way towards Siedlung Alleestrasse (from where you can go in all directions).
Het overgrote deel van de klim loopt behoorlijk gestaag stijgend over een doorgaande maar toch rustige weg met een aantal mooie bochten. Bij Kahren ga je met een U-bocht rechtsaf waar het nog maar lichtjes stijgt. Hier wel mooi uitzicht wat je in het eerste deel vanwege bos mist. Iets verderop linksaf een lekker stijgend agrarisch weggetje (matig wegdek en het kan vies zijn) in wat helaas doodloopt en niet doorloopt tot aan de Hosteberg. Op de terugweg richting de hoofdweg wel mooi uitzicht. Het laatste stukje is dus meer een tussenhupje terwijl je onderweg bent richting Siedlung Alleestrasse (waarvandaan je alle kanten op kunt).
