A really nice slope for this area where you go up in a straight line on a tarmac road (partly with bike lane). Unfortunately, the tarmac does not continue but a good rideable (hard) dirt road follows - where you sometimes have to swing around some potholes but a good track remains available - which eventually leads back to a paved cycle path. The climb runs through a wooded past some institutions.
NB: Due to the closure of the Bennekomseweg, the climb is now used as a shortcut (including the unpaved section) with hard driving at times.
Een voor dit gebied echt een heel lekkere helling waarbij je over een asfaltweg (deels met fietsstrook) in een rechte lijn omhoog gaat. Helaas loopt het asfalt niet door maar er volgt wel een goed berijdbare (harde) zandweg - waarbij je soms wel om wat kuilen moet slingeren maar er blijft een goed spoor beschikbaar - die uiteindelijk weer naar een verhard fietspad loopt. De klim loopt door een bos langs wat instellingen.
NB: Vanwege de afsluiting van de Bennekomseweg wordt de klim nu als sluiproute gebruikt (ook het onverharde gedeelte) waarbij er soms hard wordt gereden.
