Gevarieerde en relaxte klim (een stuk relaxter dan de klim vanuit Oude Hopel in ieder geval), wel deels langs een drukke weg maar daar loopt een vrijliggend fietspad. De route loopt over een betonfietspad die later overgaat in asfalt. Bij de zijweg rechtsaf waar een leuk slingerende weg naar boven loopt die via een haarspeldbocht overgaat in een smal weggetje. Op het eind kan je steil afdalen (rechtdoor) of linksaf een fraai fietspad door het bos volgen.
