What a beautiful climb! Very difficult to get into a rhythm because of the irregularity, but luckily that also gives some moments to catch your breath. It starts steep right away and after the first turns out of Reisdorf you enter a beautiful open landscape. Up to the trees just before the summit it's not too bad, but from there on it's a bit of a struggle for some steep metres.
Wat een prachtige beklimming! Zeer moeilijk om in een ritme te komen door de onregelmatigheid, maar dat geeft gelukkig ook wat momenten om op adem te komen. Het begint meteen steil en na de eerste bochten uit Reisdorf kom je in een mooi open landschap terecht. Tot aan de bomen vlak voor de top valt het nog mee, maar vanaf daar nog even doorbijten voor wat steile meters.
Nice, quiet place to attack a climb for a while. After the hairpins, you get a small stretch of false flat to catch your breath. On a hot day, it's nice to get some refreshment under the trees on the last (fairly regular) stretch.
Fijne, rustige plek om even lekker een beklimming aan te vallen. Na de haarspeldbochten krijg je een klein stuk vals plat om op adem te komen. Op een warme dag is het genieten als je onder de bomen wat verkoeling krijgt bij het laatste (vrij regelmatige) stuk.
Cool climb. The first kilometre is the toughest. From the village you get some hairpin turns and the percentage is continuously 8, 9 and 10％. Then it becomes more open and you have the steepest stretches behind you. In front of you you can see the forested ridge you still have to cross. Enjoy the beautiful views to your left for a while and then you head back into the forest. The percentages rise a bit again but it doesn't get really steep anymore.
Gave klim. De eerste kilometer is de zwaarste. Vanuit het dorp krijg je enkele haarspeldbochten en is het percentage continu 8, 9 en 10％. Daarna wordt het meer open en heb je de steilste stroken achter de rug. Voor je zie je de beboste richel die je nog over moet. Nog even genieten van de mooie uitzichten links van je en dan ga je opnieuw het bos in. De percentages lopen weer wat op maar echt steil wordt het niet meer.
Nice runner. Little traffic, super clean tarmac. Not very special as far as views go, but certainly nice.
Mooie loper. Weinig verkeer, super net asfalt. Niet heel bijzonder voor wat betreft uitzicht, maar zeker leuk.
