The climb is relaxed but it is a nice winding gravel path through the forest uphill. The approach route across the heath is also pretty. In the forest, though, there is a lot of chance of walkers with dogs. The path itself is fine to ride, even with thin tyres. At the end of the climb is a wild grid.
