This ascent leads mainly via Hohlstraße, which in turn leads through a heavily populated residential area of Langenberg up to Wallmichrath. Accordingly, the traffic can also be more annoying. In the evening, however, this is kept to a minimum. The middle section is really tough with two stretches beyond the 10 km/h mark, which are clearly noticeable and drag on for a while. At the end, the going gets easier again and you reach a mountain road, from which you can take further climbs towards Wuppertal if necessary.
Dieser Anstieg führt überwiegend über die Hohlstraße, die widerum durch einen starkbesiedelten Wohnbereich Langenbergs hinauf nach Wallmichrath führt. Entsprechend kann der Verkehr auch nerviger ausfallen. In den Abendstunden hält sich dieser jedoch in Grenzen. Der Mittelteil hat es wirklich in sich mit zwei Stichten jenseits der 10％, die man auch deutlich merkt und sich eine Weile ziehen. Hinten raus wird der Tritt wieder leichter und man erreicht eine Höhenstraße, von welcher man bei Bedarf weitere Anstiege Richtung Wuppertal mitnehmen kann.
