The start of the climb out of Bad Schwalbach is steep; after the serpentine, however, it becomes much flatter and the descent is gentle in places. Even from a distance, you can see the transmission tower on the Hohe Wurzel as the destination. The route passes the amusement park "Taunus Wunderland". Due to the clear-cutting on the Hohe Wurzel, you now have a very beautiful panoramic view over Wiesbaden to the Odenwald. The road surface is much better on this side than on the Wiesbaden side.
Der Beginn des Anstiegs aus Bad Schwalbach heraus ist steil; nach der Serpentine wird es allerdings deutlich flacher und es geht stellenweise leicht bergab. Bereits von weitem sieht man den Sendeturm auf der Hohen Wurzel als Ziel. Die Strecke führt am Vergnügungspark "Taunus Wunderland" vorbei. Durch den Kahlschlag auf der Hohen Wurzel hat man mittlerweile einen sehr schönen Weitblick über Wiesbaden bis in den Odenwald. Der Straßenbelag ist auf dieser Seite deutlich besser als auf der Seite von Wiesbaden.
