The other side of the Hoge Blekker, which is very popular with cyclists and day trippers on warm weekend days. When you drive on the wide gravel path from Oostduinkerke to the Hoge Blekker, it goes up a bit at the end of the path, then there's a good chance you'll end up on foot, because you have to drive through a small gate which reduces your speed quite a bit, but also the chance to end up on foot because a lot of cyclists and walkers pass by there too. Then you can just drive on, but the road has already become much steeper, up to even 7 percent. Then you take the turn to the left at the intersection and climb another 200m, with mild inclines, to the top. You have a very nice view from the top on the dunes and the route you cycled.
De andere kant van de Hoge Blekker, die heel populair is bij fietsers en dagjestoeristen op warme weekenddagen. Wanneer je op het brede gravelpad van Oostduinkerke naar de Hoge Blekker rijdt gaat het op het einde van het pad al een beetje omhoog, daarna is de kans wel groot dat je te voet komt te staan, want je moet door een kleine poort rijden wat al je snelheid met een pak doet verminderen, maar ook de kans om te voet te staan omdat heel veel fietsers en wandelaars daar ook passeren. Daarna kan je gewoon weer verderrijden, maar de weg is dan wel al veel steiler geworden, tot zelf 7 procent. Vervolgens neem je de bocht naar links op het kruispunt om dan nog 200m, met milde stijgingspercentages, te klimmen tot de top. Je hebt een zeer mooi uitzicht op de top op de duinen en het traject dat je hebt afgefietst.
