From the brook a nice climb along the old church of Nijswiller. The steepest parts are near the church and just before the cemetery. After the highest point there is a slight descent to the N281 where the biggest part of the Nijswillerberg-climb can be taken. The climb along the church is much nicer than the first part of the Nijswillerberg climb.
