Nice short hidden climb. After 50 metres, keep right at a t-junction (left goes to the entrance of a campsite). This hairpin bend makes the climb look foreign! The rest of the climb is nice and steady with the devil at the end. Then gently descend again. Mountain bikers could cycle straight on towards Sibbe, but that path is really only suitable for MTB'ers; it is too steep and rocky for gravel bikes.... read more

Leuke korte verborgen klim.

Short steep climb from the Daalhemerweg. From Valkenburg you have to turn sharp left so you lose your speed, from the other side you have speed but then immediately follows a sharp and steep turn to the right so anyway, you start almost stationary at the rest of the climb which is an almost straight road along some houses up. The tarmac ends at the forest, the road continues (so after the indicated climb) even steeper as a gravel road but with pretty coarse gravel. Very short climb, good to put some tension in the legs when you cycle along anyway.
