I rode up this climb today. Nice piece! Meanwhile, the houses at the top of the climb are inhabited, there were many German and Polish cars.

Vandaag deze klim opgereden. Leuk stukje!

Without Climbfinder I would not have found this climb. You first slalom through narrow streets in a quiet suburb of Groesbeek, before you get to the forest on good tarmac. After you've crossed the dirt road, the road rises and the tarmac is bad. Because the road surface is not that good anymore, I found this last part harder and longer than I thought. All in all a nice climb to do in a green quiet area. But what kind of buildings are there on top of the mountain?

The climb comes to a dead end at a municipal monument. At the moment, almost everything is empty. The old building appears to have been a porterhouse of the Muntberg estate. Occupational therapy on location has been in use since 1933. Gradually, Pluryn took over and their clients with green fingers were able to work there. At the end of 2019 the location was sold.
