Relaxed climb on a tarmac road with clear bike lanes. Keeps climbing fairly consistently. The little bridge at the beginning is road narrow but as you climb you have right of way. Beautiful scenery but the road - at least in rush hour - can be very busy. Climb is nice in itself but the route via the hunting lodge is clearly nicer and quieter.
Relaxte klim over een asfaltweg met duidelijke fietsstroken. Blijft redelijk constant klimmen. Het bruggetje in het begin is weg smal maar bij de klim heb je voorrang. Mooie omgeving maar de weg kan - iig in de spits - wel erg druk zijn. Klim is op zich wel leuk maar de route via het jachtslot is duidelijk mooier en rustiger.
Climb is not difficult. Row often after t too narrow viaduct direction jachtslot up is quieter and steeper and then last piece through beautiful new undulating wide bike path through beautiful woods towards groesbeek to drive.
Klim is niet moeilijk. Rij vaak na t te smalle viaduct richting jachtslot omhoog is rustiger en steiler om dan laatste stuk via prachtig nieuw golvend breed fietspad door mooie bos richting groesbeek te rijden.
For a climb through the forest, this one has quite a nice view. Because the road is higher than the forest, you get the feeling you are driving along a kind of green canyon of leaves. Very special. The road is a bit busy and you cycle on a bicycle lane. Furthermore, it is a good climb, fairly long for this region. If you like it steeper, you can take the alternative (via Landgoed Mookerheide). For both climbs you have to turn right just after the start and cross a small viaduct over the railway. That viaduct is so narrow that only 1 car or 1 bike can cross it. If you want to really go wild here, I can recommend to unbind your devils only after that little viaduct.
Voor een klim door het bos heeft deze nog een best mooi uitzicht. Omdat de weg hoger ligt dan het bos, krijg je het gevoel dat je langs een soort groene kloof van bladeren rijdt. Erg bijzonder. De weg is wel wat druk en je fietst op een fietsstrook. Verder is het een prima klim, redelijk lang voor deze regio. Mocht je wat steilers willen, dan kun je het alternatief nemen (via Landgoed Mookerheide). Voor beide beklimmingen geldt dat je vlak na het begin rechtsaf een viaduct over het spoor over moet. Dat viaductje is zo smal dat er slechts 1 auto of 1 fiets overheen kan. Wil je helemaal los gaan hier, dan kan ik aanraden pas na dat viaductje je duivels te ontbinden.
