A very nice alternative to the standard climb of the Ubbergse Holleweg. Where that climb starts to flatten out, you turn left here with a sharp hairpin bend after which the really steep section suddenly continues for a bit longer. Then it flattens out after which you enter the grounds of the Sint-Maartenskliniek with a 180-degree turn. After the summit, a relaxed descent towards Berg en Dalseweg.

Brilliant variation on the standard Ubbergse Holleweg. It is tough enough, but with this variation you get two wonderful bends in addition. The first bend is at a point where you can really feel your legs from the climb. Then you can make an almost 180-degree turn and it also feels like it is getting steeper. Fortunately, the second bend is less steep. A nice change.

Hele leuke afwisseling.
