Nice climb out of Edmundbyers, quite exposed and often lashed by cross winds. Used for a range of hill climbs and mountain time trials over the years. Colin nearly got taken out by a grouse bursting from the heather about halfway up, crashed right into his chest. Nice climb out of Edmundbyers, quite exposed and often lashed by cross winds. Used for a range of hill climbs and mountain time trials over the years. Colin nearly got taken out by a grouse bursting from the heather about halfway up, crashed right into his chest. Grouse came off worst and Colin still got to tge top before tge rest of us!
