The gravel is good enough to climb this mining waste mountain, even on the steeper section in the middle. I found the last 50 metres very much on the edge on a road bike, especially if you don't downshift in time. Views are moderate due to the many trees. If you have already done Halde Norddeutschland, this one is no longer necessary.
Het gravel is goed genoeg om deze mijnafvalberg te beklimmen, zelfs op het steilere stuk in het midden. De laatste 50 meter vond ik op een racefiets wel heel erg op het randje, zeker als je niet op tijd terugschakelt. Uitzicht is matig door de vele bomen. Als je Halde Norddeutschland al hebt gedaan, is deze niet meer nodig.
