The route is simple: keep following the main road. Fair to good tarmac. The route lacks some spectacle (no haurpins, depth beside the road, etc.) but certainly offers challenge and the road is pretty quiet.
Lange klim bestaande uit twee (of eigenlijk anderhalf) delen. Na een rustig begin tussen de wijngaarden en huizen ga je het bos in en begint een redelijke loper. Na het zijweggetje wordt deze even steiler waarna je het bos uitgaat en er een vlakker stuk volgt met soms weidse uitzichten. Voor Raversbeuren gaat de weg weer lichtjes stijgen, in het dorp iets steiler waarna nog een lange lichtere klim door agrarisch gebied volgt. De route is simpel: alsmaar de voorrangsweg blijven volgen. Redelijk tot goed asfalt. De route mist wat spektakel (geen haarspeldbochten, geen diepte naast de weg etc.) maar biedt zeker uitdaging en de weg is behoorlijk rustig.
