A hidden gem and a pleasant change from the well-known but busy climbs to Waldsiedlung and Jägerhausstraße. The start is identical to the ascent to Jägerhausstraße, after approx. 1 kilometre you turn off onto a well asphalted, car-free forest path, which is about 2 kilometres of false flat and leads through a beautiful forest. Then the real ascent begins. From then on, the route is gradual and very irregular until you reach a crossroads where the end of the tarmac section is located. The percentages given are relatively meaningless in reality, as steeper and flatter sections alternate throughout. Overall, the climb is very quiet - I saw a few hikers at the start of the forest path, but not a single person in the upper section.

Der Anfang ist identisch mit dem Anstieg zur Jägerhausstraße, nach ca. 1 Kilometer biegt man in einen gut aspahltierten, autofreien Waldweg ab, der ca. 2 Kilometer falsch flach verläuft und durch einen schönen Wald führt. Anschlöießend beginnt der richtige Anstieg. Ab dann geht es stufenförmig und sehr unregelmäßig bis zu einer Kreuzung an der sich das Ende des aspahltierten Teils befindet. Die angegebenen Prozentwerte haben in der Realität relativ wenig Aussagekraft da sich durchgängig steilere und flachere Abschnitte wechseln. Insgesamt ist der Anstieg sehr ruhig am Anfang des Waldwegs habe ich einige Wanderer gesehen, im oberen Teil keinen einzigen Menschen.
Auf dem Gipfel habe ich den rechten Schotterweg in Richtung Waldsiedlung genommen, er ist mit einem Schotterrad problemlos zu befahren und müsste auch mit einem Rennrad zu schaffen sein.
