Guardader d'Arres from Bossòst

Bossòst to Guardader d’Arres starts off the ride with a nice climb in the trees of 7.2KM, 8.5% average grade. Pavement pretty good but some rock fall on the road, no traffic. A viewpoint at the top. I continued on past Arres de Sus to Bassa d'Arres which has some poor pavement but still rideable and worth it for the views as it is a very scenic road. Again, no traffic on this section. I looped back through Vilamòs and down to Pònt de Arròs then connected back to Bossòst. An enjoyable short and scenic route of 35km and 933m elevation gain.

Een schitterende beklimming, het mooie van deze beklimming is dat het rustig, een klein goed geasfaleteerde weg dat je door de bos heen leidt naar boven. Als afdaling zou ik je wel aanbevelen om rust aan te doen omdat de weg zo breed is als een auto en het heeft veel haarspeldbochten, moet je als fietser goed aan de kant blijven. Boven aan de klim heb je een mooie uitzichten en als je iets verder doorrijdt naar de dorpje vilamos dan heb je ook nog eens uitzicht op de hoogste berg van de pyreneen Aneto.
