In het eerste deel (na te zijn afgeslagen) loopt de weg aardig op door de - best groene - bebouwde kom. na de bocht vlakt het af en op de kruising ga je rechtdoor een doodlopende weg in die nog even leuk ophoog loopt. Bij de poort en de paaltjes kan je nog een klein stukje doorfietsen waar je de stortberg even mooi kan bekijken - een beetje vreemde omgeving dus toch leuk om even te zien.
