Nice climb for this region. The descent in the middle pushes the average % down. But apart from the run-up and that interlude, it is solid. Although you do eventually get to above 800 metres, the number of places where you have a nice view are limited because you are cycling mainly through the forest (or a village) anyway.

Contrary to what the report says, this climb is indeed accessible. The climb is long, punchy at the end and beautiful. I also found this climb wonderfully peaceful.

The lower part of the climb leads through a beautiful valley and the road is newly tarmaced, so it rolls really well! From Niederreifenberg, the going gets tough; almost like a ladder to heaven, the road leads straight and very steeply out of the village and the gradient doesn't let up. You can take a short breather at the Red Cross, then the final ascent begins.
Of all 5 climbs up the Feldberg, this and the one via Schmitten are my favourites because there is much less traffic than on the others.
