A very nice climb from the Moselle valley. In the village of Nittel, the road winds continuously uphill on good tarmac and you pass a small waterfall. After the village, the road gets a bit less (but it certainly remains reasonable) and the percentages go up a bit until a slightly flatter stretch follows until the beautifully located hairpin bend. Then comes the physical bouncer because from that point on, the percentages rise quite a bit until it gets really tough after which there is a slight ... read more

Beautiful scenery and impressive views to the rear.

This climb begins quite pleasantly in the winegrowing village of Nittel. After leaving the village, the percentages increase slightly after the hairpin bend at St Roch's Chapel. The view of the Moselle valley is marvellous here.
