Not too difficult climb over the two-way cycle path along the main road between Wijlre and Gulpen. Hardest part is near the farmhouses on the right side of the road. As the cycle path is not very wide, take into account cyclists descending from Gulpen.
Niet te moeilijke klim over het tweerichting fietspad langs de doorgaande weg tussen Wijlre en Gulpen. Zwaarste stuk zit t.h.v. de boerderij/woningen rechts van de weg. Omdat fietspad niet al te breed is wel rekening houden met dalende fietsers vanuit Gulpen.

Wie beschrieben kann es auf dem engen Radweg zu Platzproblemen kommen, allgemein jedoch eine relativ ruhige Umgebung.
I mainly remember these as that far too narrow busy tiled cycle path you want to get off as soon as possible. Where you encounter slow other two-wheelers. Often a necessary evil in many routes here, even if you are with a gravel bike and have more options.
Ik herinner me deze vooral als dat veel te smalle drukke fietspad met tegels waar je zo snel mogelijk van af wil. Waar je trage andere tweewielers treft. Vaak een noodzakelijk kwaad in veel routes hier, zelfs als je met een gravelfiets bent en meer opties hebt.
No more than a slope in the road (according to South Limburg standards). A nice road in a green environment. Where the cycle path ends is where the climb ends.
Niet meer dan een glooiing in de weg (naar Zuid-Limburgse begrippen dan). Wel een mooie weg verder in een groene omgeving. Waar het vrij liggende fietspad ophoudt is ook het eind van de klim.
