I had cycled (and photographed) the first part once before and was already enthusiastic about that. Now I did the whole climb and the enthusiasm certainly remains. After the first summit, you enter the forest where the road descends considerably into a pretty stream valley. Then the road undulates back up and you leave the forest where there are sometimes wide views. After the right-hand bend there is a short flat section, but further on the road winds nicely up towards Götzeroth where the junction is the end. Good tarmac throughout the climb.

Het eerste deel had ik als eens eerder gefietst (en gefotografeerd) en daar was ik al enthousiast over. Nu de hele klim gedaan en het enthousiasme blijft zeker. Na de eerste top ga je het bos in waarbij de weg flink omlaag gaat een fraai beekdalletje in. Daarna golft de weg weer omhoog en ga je het bos uit waar soms weidse uitzichten zijn. Na de bocht naar rechts even een vlak stuk maar verderop zie je de weg mooi kronkelend omhoog lopen richting Götzeroth waar op de splitsing het eindpunt is. Gedurende de hele klim goed asfalt.

Only did the part up to the first summit (the rest will hopefully come later) and that bit was a lovely winding and undulating road with excellent tarmac through a beautiful green area and with nice views.

Alleen het gedeelte tot de eerste top gedaan (de rest komt later hopelijk nog eens) en dat stukje was een heerlijk slingerend en golvend weggetje met uitstekend asfalt door een mooi groene omgeving en met leuke uitzichten.
