It is not really a steep enough hill for such a challenge - we had to cover over 190 miles to get the height needed - but it ticked all the practicality and safety boxes when doing such a mad endeavor with your teenage daughter. The Painswick Rococo gardens are beside this climb, famed for amazing snowdrops in the woods in early spring. Painswick is a chocolate box Cotswold village. I hate to think how much a house costs there!
