Small hidden gem that I got to know through my stay in the Felsenstüble (good reviews on tripadvisor, also have their own website), described here halfway up. From here you can go anywhere in the High Black Forest. Nice to mention if you come here on leave, you get a kind of card that gives you access to all sorts of free activities (subtropical swimming pool daily, toboggan, ...).... read more

Very nice climb through the forest. Just away from the busy roads. If I come there again I would do this as a descent. And then follow the road up to the east and then continue south to Wolfloch. I descended from that side on a beautiful narrow forest road that could be enjoyed for longer as a climb.

Beautiful quiet road to just come to yourself. Nice tarmac straight through the woods.
Certainly nice to take.
