It's a hard climb, one not to be underestimated, first between pastures and vineyards and then into the forest. The road serves Visperterminen (Europe's highest vineyards!) all year round, while in winter the second part is often snow-covered. Beautiful views of some 4000-metre peaks of the Valais Alps (Weisshorn, Dom,...). There is a restaurant at the top.... read more

It's a hard climb, one not to be underestimated, first between pastures and vineyards and then into the forest. The road serves Visperterminen (Europe's highest vineyards!) all year round, while in winter the second part is often snow-covered.
