Both on the approach route and in the first part of the climb, you sometimes have beautiful views of the Wesertalsperre reservoir. The reasonable asphalt road (sometimes a bit gritty and a few metres worse in the beginning) climbs steadily. However, there are quite a few twists and turns in the road so it will not be boring. Wooded surroundings with some open spaces so that you can see a bit further.
