Deze kant wordt ook wel de oude Gerlospass genoemd en de staat van het wegdek laat hier echt aan de wensen over. Het eerste stuk is best wel stijl en vrij smal voor het verkeer dat hierover rijd. Ik zou deze kant nooit afdalen en hiervoor altijd de hoofdweg naar Krimml volgen.
