I cycled this back in 2008, right after the other end from Bodensdorf. Like that one, I was not prepared for this climb, which is similar to the Mortirolo from Grosio, slightly less horrid than the Mortirolo from Mazzo di Valtellina. The last 2 kms are gravel, but doable. If you're in the area, this is a must do, but only if you like impossibly steep.
