Beautiful climb that was affected by heavy rain in 2020, which made part of the road surface and the bridge at the beginning of the climb inaccessible. Fortunately, this has now been fully restored and we can enjoy this beautiful climb again. Nicest part is in the first part of the climb, dark brown rocks, railway bridge overlooking a dark tunnel and the steep newly built path between some houses in a forest. Once past this section, the road flattens out a bit but in very poor condition until it reaches the hamlet of Gelivau. Turn right and this is the last very steep section of the climb with a nice hairpin turn around a farm. Highly recommended!

Nice climb. Be careful when navigating using Strava: the little bridge indicated on the map with a dotted line is fine to cycle, but Strava does not know it.

Mooie klim.

This is one of the most beautiful climbs in this region and that means something! It is a rather unknown climb, but worthwhile to come to the Vesdre valley for. The start is a bit hidden, but starts after the little bridge over the Vesdre. The first part turns over the railway along a rock face. If you like equal slopes, turn around immediately because this climb is very irregular. Don't be fooled by the average of "but" 6,4%. It goes from flatter to very steep. If you think you've made it to the top, there is a final climb after the hamlet of Gelivau(x). There is a wall with 10-15%. At the top you meet the also not easy Côte de Hansez.
