The Geisberg in Schoden is easy to locate from afar thanks to the 245 metre high transmitter mast of the Saarburg radio station. The ascent begins over the bridge at Schoden railway station. The three flatter sections are always a good place to recover. About halfway up, at the winter lime tree, you are rewarded with a fantastic view of the Saargau and Luxembourg. Generally a beautiful climb with steep passages. A diversion is worthwhile.
