In winter the hamlet of Garfescha (a hotel, an apres ski bar and about 25 holiday homes) can only be reached by the old 2-seater lift. In summer there is a perfectly asphalted narrow road, but this is probably not well indicated in the valley and almost impossible to find, otherwise there would be more experiences noted.

The climb: a torture! Nowhere can you pick up your rhythm, it is steep all the time and changing gears is not really possible anywhere. But hey, it's only 5 km...
A nice challenge for the all-rounder.

A large part of the climb is in winter a simple valley descent / toboggan path, which is different with the bike up. You go under the lift about 5 times and it remains steep everywhere.

The route is beautiful. Enjoy the quiet, the surroundings and finally the fantastic view. Back down is plenty of braking (some parts are a bit worse but I think they are working on it because of the road markings), top times in the descent you can only achieve somewhere on a wide track. All in all, a real must for a break.
