Op zich gewoon een fietspad langs een uitvalsweg maar het asfalt is goed en de omgeving vooral groen. Bij de eerste - rustige - zijweg moet je voorrang verlenen, bij de tweede juist niet. Bij die tweede zijweg nog wat leuke bochten in het fietspad trouwens. De "Talbrücke" (best hoog) boven het park is een leuk accent. Na de brug iets steiler. De klim loopt door tot aan de rotonde. Op zich natuurlijk maar een lichte klim maar het is een leuke uitvalsroute vanuit Brunssum richting Schinveld of Duitsland.
