A hidden corner of the Flemish Ardennes with a hidden gem of a climb. For me, it was an absolute highlight, the road winds up nicely through the forest, a nice alternative to the - slightly easier - Foreest.
Een verborgen hoekje van de Vlaamse Ardennen met een verborgen parel van een klim. Voor mij absoluut een uitschieter, de weg kronkelt mooi omhoog door het bos, een leuk alternatief op de - net iets makkelijkere - Foreest.
Launched by a slight downhill section, you start to climb at speed. Soon you are winding through a more tree-lined section. Steeper part with a wall on the left. One of those fine climbs in this part of the Flemish Ardennes.
Gelanceerd door een licht dalend stuk begin je met snelheid aan het klimmetje. Al snel kronkel je door een wat meer bomenrijk deel. Steiler stuk met aan de linkerkant een muurtje. 1 van die fijne klimmetjes in dit deel van de Vlaamse Ardennen.
