One of the must-do climbs in the South of Mallorca (part of the 312 route). Gradients are not high but is a challenging climb on old grey Mallorca tarmac (mostly) and a bit rough in places. Has the advantage of being very quiet all year round. Hidden Gem!
A quiet, steady climb that bites in places but seems to be typical of the Colls at this end of the island.
Road surface on some stretches is not silky smooth but there's no terrible breakup of the road; it is quite narrow in places.
Once you're out of the first sector in the trees and past the first couple pf sharp bends then it opens out and the views are great - on a sunny day it's a joy to climb. I took a friend who'd never done a climb over about 5 minutes and although he felt the burn on the 10% sectors, he loved it.
Watch out for the real life mountain goats!
Coffee stop in the square outside the church in Galilea is wonderful
