Today, after a long time, I did the Galgenberg in Wezemaal.
And there is a new layer of asphalt on this short but steep wall with a bit of 15%. There are a lot of short but steep climbs in this area around Wezemaalberg. On the other side of the railway you have the Heikantberg with the climb of the Heikant wall.

Nice but tough climb and the steep part has a new layer of asphalt (so gone the broken road with pits) since December 2020. (Also in Nieuwrode and Gelrode are many slopes and roads with new asphalt).
When you turn from the Aarschotsesteenweg, the first 100 meters are flat until you reach the small street on your left where Vermarc (the cycling clothes shop of Frans Verbeek and his son Marc with great clothes) and on your right the mountainbike trail. From here the road goes up and after a few tens of meters it becomes a wall . The last 40 meters the road fortunately becomes less steep.
