Vanaf de voet tussen twee behoorlijk grote waterplassen ziet men in de verte de helling , die in wielermiddens als de Bolderberg bekend staat, langs deze meer dan behoorlijk druk bereden weg een linkse bocht maken waarna men al snel de top bereikt.De klim is wellicht eerder interessant omwille van de wielergeschiedenis die aan deze helling kleeft dan om de klim zelf.In 2002 werd dit traject namelijk tijdens het wk wielrennen dat op het aanpalende autocircuit van Zolder Terlaemen zijn eindbestemming vond in exact dezelfde rijrichting opgenomen.
