From the foot between two rather large puddles, you can see in the distance the slope along this more than pretty busy road make a left turn after which you soon reach the top.The climb is perhaps more interesting because of the cycling history attached to this slope than because of the climb itself. In 2002, this route was recorded in exactly the same driving direction during the cycling World Cup, which found its final destination on the adjoining Zolder Terlaemen motorway circuit.
