Pleasant climb near the Attersee. In Weyeregg am Attersee you leave the main road towards Bach. This part ascends very slightly and is therefore not part of the climb. It only begins in the village of Bach. From there on, the climb is steep. But after every bit of climbing, there is also a stretch to catch your breath.
In the beginning there is a lot of traffic, but the higher you go, the less it goes. In the last 2 km, I have not seen another car.
The road surface is fine everywhere and winds up via several hairpin bends. Again, you have alternation of open fields and forests (for cooling). When you come out of the last bend, you can see the radio tower in the distance. There it is, a short climb and you're there.
Just before the top there is a dead end to the left, where there are some houses. They sell special (game) meats and honey here. Drinks are unfortunately not available. But behind the houses, you can sit on the lawn and enjoy the view. Just don't sit too close to the beehives :D.
