Personally, I find this the most beautiful of the various options for climbing Fromberg. The climb starts just before the railway tunnel of the Miljoenenlijn and then goes up slowly. At the end, turn right where you share part of the climb Scheumermolenweg. At the end, turn right again for the final stretch up Schaapdries.
Zelf vind ik dit de mooiste van de diverse mogelijkheden om de Fromberg te beklimmen. De klim begint net voor het spoortunneltje van de Miljoenenlijn en gaat dan langzaam omhoog. Aan het einde rechtsaf waarbij je een gedeelte van de klim Scheumermolenweg deelt. Aan het einde weer rechts voor het laatste stuk van de Schaapdries.
Nice and varied route to the Fromberg. after the (beautiful) tunnel it goes up very steep. After that it gets more relaxed until you have to work hard after the T-junction. After the next T-junction the road becomes a bit wavy with one steep part in between. Highest point is just past the bush. From the bench just before the top beautiful view.
Mooi gevarieerde route naar de Fromberg. na het (mooie) tunneltje gaat het even steil omhoog. Daarna wordt het wat relaxter tot ja na de T-splitsing aan de bak moet al duurt dat maar kort. Na de volgende T-splitsing golft het een beetje met nog één steil stukje tussendoor. Hoogste punt is net voorbij het bosje. Vanaf het bankje vlak voor de top prachtig uitzicht.
Surprisingly nice alternative to the Fromberg, really worthwhile. There is also a really steep bend at the beginning.
Verassend leuk alternatief van de Fromberg, echt de moeite waard. Zit ook echt een stevige knik in aan het begin, dat is nog behoorlijk steil.
Nice climb to make some extra altimeters if you have a climb as dead man, Keutenberg or Eyserbosweg in a trip.
Leuke klim om nog wat extra hoogtemeters te maken als men een beklimming als dodeman, keutenberg of Eyserbosweg in een tocht heeft.
