Long, gentle run-up, but after a bend it suddenly gets really steep. You can't see it coming, which makes it quite tough. Beautiful scenery, great views of the surrounding hills.
Lange, gezapige aanloop, maar na een bocht wordt het plots écht steil. Je ziet het niet aankomen en dat maakt het best pittig. Mooie omgeving, prachtige zichten op de omliggende heuvels.
Very nice climb: nice tarmac, nice scenery, quiet - also tricky. Quiet start, but it gets increasingly difficult - with sections up to 14％ at the end. Lots of options to choose from at the top of the climb (descent Ganzenberg or Stokstraat or still towards Brakel or La Houppe?) Top climb!

This is a very nice climb. Narrow track through the fields. There are also some bends in it which makes it extra interesting. The steeper part can be deceptively tricky. Definitely a better option than e.g. the Kaperij to go in this direction.
Dit is een heel mooie klim. Smal baantje doorheen de velden. Er zitten ook wat bochtjes in wat het extra interessant maakt. Het steilere stuk kan bedrieglijk lastig zijn. Zeker een betere optie dan bvb de Kaperij om deze richting uit te gaan.

Nice climb starting from the St. Peter's Church in Schorisse that starts gently sloping with a steep end, winds through a beautiful pastoral silence area to the top. Nearby lies if you turn left into the Hessestraat 2 in Sint-Maria-Horebeke, the 'Kapel van de Ronde', a chapel with the theme of the Tour of Flanders. Nice to once stop. Leuke klim startend vanaf de Sint-Petruskerk in Schorisse die zacht glooiend begint met een pittig steil einde, kronkelt zich door een mooi pastoraal stiltegebied naar boven. Vlakbij ligt als je links afslaat in de Hessestraat 2 te Sint-Maria-Horebeke, de 'Kapel van de Ronde', een kapel met als thema de Ronde van Vlaanderen. Leuk om er eens halt te houden. De namen van de Rondewinnaars zijn in de muren gebeiteld en de kapel is opgedragen aan Daniel Brottier, de patroonheilige van de wielrenners of fietsers tout court.
What a beautiful climb with a special name. It's very quiet and winds up between meadows and houses. Definitely a must to descend afterwards towards the Kouterberg and the Taaienberg.
Wat een mooie klim met een bijzondere naam. Hij is erg rustig en kronkelt mooi omhoog tussen weilanden en huizen. Absoluut een aanrader om erna af te dalen richting de Kouterberg en Taaienberg.

This climb deserves at least 4 thumbs up! Since 2019 it is a beautiful paved road through the beautiful quiet area! Sometimes even sheep walk on the road! You imagine yourself in the Pyrenees!
Deze beklimming verdient zeker 4 duimpjes!Het is sinds 2019 een mooie geasfalteerde weg die door het prachtige stiltegebied loopt!Soms kunnen er zelfs schaapjes over de weg lopen!Je waant je even in de Pyreneen!
