Beautiful climb where you imagine yourself for a kilometer (about 7% average) in a dense forest, as if you are in the forest part of the Camerig. The road here is at least as beautiful. From Doische you ride in the forest along a small river on a wide road, false flat down. This is enjoyable. The climb starts from that descent by steering to the right. Don't forget to change down here, because it goes up immediately with 9%. After 100m of climbing, it flattens out to 7% and is a constant runner where you can find your rhythm well. There are not many cars on this road and the road surface is good, also the road is wide enough. After one kilometer climbing you can see the light through the trees - literally - when you leave the forest and cycle between the meadows. Here the gradient immediately goes down to not insignificant percentages. At the end of the road you're in Gimnée where you can turn left for a nice descent towards Mazée (after a long stretch of false flat) or you can turn right towards Doische to get back to the base of this climb! According to me and my cycling buddies this climb is very worthwhile.

De weg hierheen is minstens even mooi.
