In an oasis of calm, you can take a break here on the outdoor plateau. Don't forget to enjoy the scenery and views. You can also go straight on towards Nadrin just before the end of this climb for extra views as well as altimeters.
In een oase van rust kan je hier op de buitenplaat even doortrekken. Vergeet zeker niet om van de omgeving en de uitzichten te genieten. Je kan net voor het einde van deze klim ook rechtdoor richting Nadrin voor extra uitzichten én hoogtemeters.
Wonderful alternative to the Cote de Nadrin and Grande Marmont from the Barrage de Nisramont. All the climbs start with a tough stretch from the barrage, but then if you turn left after the big bend into a small road, you find yourself in an oasis of calm--designated quiet area--and a lovely quiet shortcut leads you zig-zagging up at a very reasonable percentage. The climb does drag on for a bit, so you are definitely challenged. One of my favourite climbs in the area!
Prachtig alternatief voor de Cote de Nadrin en Grande Marmont vanuit de Barrage de Nisramont. Alle klimmetjes beginnen met een pittig stuk vanaf de barrage, maar als je vervolgens na de grote bocht links een weggetje inslaat, kom je terecht in een oase van rust--aangewezen stiltegebied--en leidt een heerlijk rustig binnenweggetje je zigzaggend met een heel schappelijk percentage naar boven. Onderweg kom je zelfs nog een waterpomp--ik weet niet of het water drinkbaar is--en een antieke hooikar tegen om het idyllische plaatje compleet te maken! De klim trekt nog wel een stukje door, dus je wordt zeker wel uitgedaagd. Een van mijn favoriete klimmetjes in de buurt!
