Ondanks dat dit een volledig kunstmatige helling met weinig klimpunten is mag dit tot ver buiten het Limburgse bronsgroen eikenhout gekende fietsproject dat jaarlijks vele duizenden fietstoeristen naar het verder zeer klimluwe Noorden van Limburg lokt absoluut niet ontbreken.Limburg profileert zich hier dan ook samen met gelijkaardige projecten als fietsen door het water, fietsen door de heide, zijn zeer fraai en zeer uitgebreide fietsroutenetwerk dat al vaak gekopieerd werd maar hier zijn oorsprong vond en de talrijke fietsbruggen, trajecten, fietspaden en projecten die de volgende jaren ongetwijfeld nog in de steigers staan als " the place to be " als het om recreatieve fietsbeleving gaat.Bovendien heeft de plaatselijke horeca en het verblijfstoerisme hier zeer flexibel op ingespeeld.
